YOGA CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
All of our yoga classes are designed to be suitable for all levels-
new yogis, learning yogis, and yogis who have been practicing for some time are all welcome to all yoga classes, unless otherwise noted.
BREATHE AND FLOW
A combination class that includes linked postures together with a slow flowing Vinyasa, breathing practices and restorative postures. You'll build strength by moving your body slowly to enhance flexibility and range of motion. This class is great for students newer to the yoga practice and students who want a change from faster flowing classes.
In this class movement is synchronized to the breath, forming connection between the mind, body, and spirit. This style is sometimes also called Vinyasa yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. The breath becomes an important component because your teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale.
This 45-minute class is a mindful flow that combines breath and movement to focus the mind, and deepen the body's strength, balance and flexibility. This class is great for beginners and people with busy schedules! If you have an hour for lunch, and need a yoga break, this is the perfect class for you.
GROW WITH THE FLOW YOGA
An hour long seamless flow which blends Hatha and some Kriya yoga for all levels. Great for building mental endurance, muscle memory, balance, and for opening up energy centers within the body.
This class uses postures, breathing, and meditation to help ease discomfort in the body during and after pregnancy, as well as for those who are not pregnant. The classes create strength, focus, flexibility, and awareness through a gentle practice in a safe and peaceful environment for expectant mothers and those looking for a more gentle style of practice.
SLOW AND GENTLE YOGA
This class focuses on poses that promote relaxation, restoration and rejuvenation. Restorative poses help relieve the effects of chronic stress, including weakness and fatigue brought on by our daily fast paced activities. Each restorative sequence is designed to move the spine in all directions by using poses props allowing for mindful movement and relaxation. These poses teach us how to cultivate awareness by bringing our attention to the areas we hold tension and consciously releasing and letting it go.
This class focuses on vinyasa style yoga which connects movement to breath and builds heat, balance, strength and flexibility.
